Using micro:bit
In MYP 1/2/3 Digital Design classes, students have been using micro:bit.
The micro:bit is a small award-winning programmable computer, that allows children to get hands-on with coding and digital making, on recognise the power of technology in the real world.
By using micro:bit, students have started to developed their understanding of how computers work and explored basic concepts of programming with MakeCode or/and micro:bit Python editor.
All MYP 1/2/3/students are now expected to undertake another full MYP project with this, but for the ones who want to take this further, a new ‘Advanced micro:bit’ club is now on offer on Thursdays, between 2:15pm and 3:00 pm in room 210.
