A Memorable Adventure at Family Park: Year 4 and Year 5 Students’ Excursion

Just before the Easter holidays, our Year 4 and Year 5 students embarked on an exciting trip to Family Park in Austria. This outing was not only a fun-filled day but also a wonderful way to bring classroom learning to life.

The Year 4 class had recently completed their unit on the science of sound, while the Year 5 students wrapped up their physics unit focused on roller coasters. This trip allowed them to connect their studies with real-world experiences in an exhilarating environment.

From the moment we arrived, the excitement was palpable. Students eagerly dashed from ride to ride, their laughter and joy echoing throughout the park. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the thrilling roller coasters, where our students rode from open to close, fully embracing the thrill of each twist and turn.

One particularly memorable experience was the water rides. Students bundled up in their ponchos and rain jackets, ready to take on the splashing elements. Their bravery and enthusiasm were inspiring, and the smiles on their faces as they navigated the waves were truly priceless.

Adding to the excitement of the day, one student won the largest plushie—a giant duck that became our mascot. He proudly carried it with him throughout the entire day, adding an extra layer of joy to our adventure.

This trip not only reinforced their learning but also created lasting memories that they will cherish for years to come. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making this adventure a success.

We look forward to more engaging experiences that blend education with fun in the future!
