Visit to Panza Robotics

On Friday 12th December, a small number of Digital Design and Computer Science students (MYP4/5 and AP/DP) travelled to the National Centre of Robotics in Karlova Ves to investigate latest local developments in Robotics. They learned about the multiple challenges of developing a quadruped robots such as Artaban or Unitree, using ‘traditional’ algorithmic programming methods or more recent machine learning techniques.

MYP 4/5 students also benefited from this visit for their project on ‘Rescue and Detection robots’, designing their own robots with 3D CAD.

A new advanced Robotics club will also start from February 2026!

Note that some of those humanoid and quadruped robots can now be purchased from online retailers and delivered to your door… Click here for your Christmas shopping!
