Thanksgiving desserts
Thanksgiving is a time for indulging in delicious and comforting desserts. For our last Thanksgiving event, teachers were asked to bring a cake. As not all of us are great bakers, we usually try our best. I still remember Miss Karo’s Pavlov’s tart from last year. She also composed a funny poem about it and that was the point when real fun started that evening. Miss Teresa’s brownies are delicious every time she brings them to school’s occasions and she brings a LOT of them!
I always bake a carrot cake with an orange flavour. This is btw my only cake I have never baked wrong. I do not understand how it is possible, I am not good at cooking or baking, but many people around me have told me that they have never eaten a better carrot cake in their life. So I am publishing here a photo of theย magical recipe of mine, I have it from my ‘year-as-an-aupair’ in England, and yes, despite the fact that British cuisine is not so popular, I also learned to cook several good dishes there!
