On April 11, Year 11 took an active part in the Open Day.
In the Physics section, Imre, Vadim, Dima, and Yan participated.
Imre demonstrated a working model for creating waves with different frequencies.
Vadim created a working model of water electrolysis. Dima theoretically calculated how many liters of blood a Vampire needs to satisfy his energy needs.
Yan presented his project Poster on pulley.
In the Mathematics section, Rouzhin presented a project Roller Coaster.
In the Chemistry section, Maksym, Mykhailo, Rado, and Jake participated. Maksym presented a project Qualitative reactions of potassium iodide. Mykhailo demonstrated the evaporation of iodine by heating it.
Rado gave a presentation on polystyrene and with Jake presented 3D models of various organic molecules.
Anastasiia and Randy presented a project completed by Y11, Design for All. In advance, Y11 students asked early years and Y1 students to draw anything that comes to their mind and would like to see it in reality. Then Y11 students took those sketches and created the drawings into different products using different materials and methods.
In addition, the Design section presented models of bridges made of spaghetti, and the Art section – models of lamps, also made by Y11 students.
Three students: Alexandra, Anna and Sviatoslav, took part in the fashion show. They demonstrated clothes sewn in design and art lessons by Y 10 students.
In the Languages section, Vadim presented his project How to remember the names of emotions in German by creating a funny story.
All Y11 students performed with confidence, showing personal interest and inspiration.
The Open Day was high-quality, on a positive wave. Many thanks to the Y11 students, as well as the teachers who prepared them.
