Culture Weeks
The EISB community represents 30+ cultures and languages. Therefore, we would like to celebrate the diversity of school through Culture Weeks. Each week will highlight a different culture with posters, music, activities, food, presentations at assemblies, among other things. Culture weeks is not meant to be intrusive with lessons but is a subtle way to familiarize the community with the various cultures represented in the school.
Culture Weeks is not organized by teachers, but by EISB families to share what they’d like the community to know. The link below allows you to sign up for a week in the year that you’d like to celebrate your culture. Ideal weeks are those that include a holiday or memorable time to celebrate, but doesn’t need to be.
