Geography Champs

Miso Djobek and Jan Šafář are this year’s Year 6 geography champs.

After learning 102 countries throughout Asia and Africa in less than a week, these cartography aficionados turned their sights on to Europe’s 40.

Their tool of choice to demonstrate incredible spatial skill is Snappy Maps from the Coolmathgames site.

Without names, lines, borders, only shapes, the students must recognize the country and place it correctly on the continent. A slight misplacement receives an error score.

After only a few tries, both Miso and Jan were able to place all 40 European countries with 0 errors in just over 1 minute.
