🏀 EISB Basketball Tournament

Today, our students were bused to the Domkarska Sports Hall Bratislava, and from the moment we arrived, the enthusiasm was unmistakable. The competition was organised into four teams: Team Alkis, Team Jana, Team Roman, and Team Thomas, each each team comprises of at least 7 students which were mostly males, but only team Alkis had one female and were determined to bring their best game to the court and win the ultimate

During the group phase, Team Alkis dominated, winning all their matches with confidence and impressive point margins. Their teamwork was smooth, their passes were sharp, some impressive defending and their star player, Yuki, led them with exceptional skill.

In the final match between Team Alkis and Team Thomas, Yuki unfortunately pulled a muscle and had to sit out for several minutes. The shift was immediate , the rhythm changed, confidence dipped, and Team Thomas seized the moment. With determination and smart play, Team Thomas claimed the victory, turning the final into an unforgettable one.

To wrap up the event, the student champions faced the teachers in a friendly match. And while the students played with heart, the teachers showed their experience, winning the game comfortably and leaving everyone laughing, cheering, and enjoying the spirit of the day.

It was a fantastic reminder that competition teaches more than winning. As the saying goes:
“Sports do not build character  they reveal it.”
And today, our students showed resilience, teamwork, and courage all the way.

A memorable day for our academy full of energy, learning, and shared moments we’ll be talking about for weeks.
