Elements of art, MYP1/Gr6

In the first year of academy, it’s crucial to learn about the fundamentals of art, such as rythm, colour, line, texture, space, etc. During this art excercise, students learned about the exceptional art of Jen Stark, a Los Angeles based artist. This kind of art has a focus in optical illusion, patterns, and nature. Even though this technique of using colored paper requires some patience, the students were able to create impressive artworks, with their own twists.

Even though everyone got the same assignment, each artwork is different, highlighting the individuality of each student as an artist.
