El Día de los Muertos

El Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink, and celebration. This holiday is celebrated each year from October 31 until November 2.
Our Spanish students celebrated this Hispanic tradition by using their artistic skills to make their own Catrina mask. La Catrina was an original design created by Jose Guadalupe Posada that became an iconic figure in Mexican culture, representing death and the way Mexicans face it.
