US Culture Week – Thanksgiving with Chili and Pies!

Last week EISB celebrated the US Thanksgivig holidays during their US Culture Week.Β  What better way to celebrate the United States then with food.

One of the days was celebrated with the US tradition of chili.Β  Participants brought inΒ their various styles and levels of heat.Β  And what goes with chili better than Tex-mex Nachos, which was also provided.

 

On Friday, EISB celebrated the day with some of the great American pies.Β  TraditionalΒ with the Thanksgiving holiday was offered the unique tastes fo Pumpkin and Sweet Potatoe pies. Some of the favorites included Samuel’s (Year 6) Strawberry no-bake cheesecake, Jasmin’s (Year 1) Chocolate Raspberry Cream, and Sam’s (Pre-School) and his mother’s Traditional Apple Pie with a unique Persian flair! πŸ™‚

Of course, there’s none left to share, so you’ll just need to take our word for it.
