Preschool & Year 1 Music lessons

During the Covid time and wearing face masks in schools, singing is not so enjoyable. But there are many other activities the kids can do in music… The youngest ones love doing body percussion: tap, clap, snap, fly, jump, stomp… We usually start every music lesson with some kind of rhythmical movements. In the first term The Year 1 and preschool kids experienced playing the musical tubes, the glockenspiels, or the keyboards. They are starting to feel the beat and how to keep the steady beat. They have also learned about various instruments, listened to them and tried to recognize the specific color of the violin, flute, piano, guitar, harp and saxophone.
