Tardova Continuing Team’s Success

Tamara Tardova’s (Year 10) team took second place this last weekend and played some of their best team performances to date. The members of BK Slovan were ecstatic because they beat some teams for the first time in 4 years. Some games were won by 30 points which was also a first. “It was a great feeling to have won 3 out of 4 games after taking a two month break from games,” shared Tardova.

Before school started the team went through a tough training camp as preparation for the upcoming season. It was challenging both physically and mentally however it helped prepare for the most stressful of situations in intense and close games.

“The best feeling from the previous tournament for all of us was consciously being aware of our progress. Right now we’re continuing to work hard and prepare for the upcoming season starting in about a month”.
