Spanish Presentation Day – ¡Muy bien, chicos!

On Thursday, our Spanish learners had a special day as they shared their work with parents and the school community!

Year 2 and Year 3 children have been busy making their own posters all about themselves, using Spanish to share things like their names, ages and favorite things.

For our Year 2 beginners, this was a big step! They have been learning Spanish for just six weeks, so we have been taking our time, practicing new words and putting their posters together in class. Every child worked on their poster, and we displayed their work on the bulletin board. Some children are already finding their voices in Spanish, while others are still a little shy and need more practice before speaking in front of others. That is absolutely fine – we will keep practicing together, one step at a time!

Year 3, who have been learning Spanish since last year, were ready to put on a show! They proudly presented their posters and showed everyone how much Spanish they already know. It was wonderful to see them speaking, sharing their favorite things and enjoying their moment in the spotlight. They did a fantastic job, and we were very proud of them!

It was lovely to see our Spanish learners at different stages of their journey, each with their own little achievements. Learning a new language takes time, practice and courage, and we are excited to see what comes next.

¡Muy bien, chicos!
