Celebrating Our Young Gymnasts: Jasmin and Charlene Shine at the Danubia Mini Cup

On Thursday, May 8th, our school community gathered to cheer on two remarkable young gymnasts, Jasmin (Y1) and Charlene (Y2), at the Danubia Mini Cup. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, glitter, hair spray, and sparkling leotards as the gymnasts warmed up for their routines.

Jasmin, representing the Golden Girls Gymnastics team, took to the floor first. Her radiant smile and professional demeanor captivated everyone in attendance. We are proud to announce that she finished in 3rd place out of 18 competitors in her category!

Charlene, competing for the TJ Rapids of Bratislava team, also showcased her talent in her very first rhythmic gymnastics event, achieving an impressive 5th place out of 15 girls.

A heartwarming moment of the day was when both girls had the honor of seeing Jasmin’s older sister, Amelia (Y9), in the crowd. Amelia’s support throughout the day, including helping Jasmin warm up for her events, added a special touch to the experience.

It was truly wonderful to witness Jasmin and Charlene celebrating together after the awards. Their hard work and dedication shone brightly, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievements.
