A Small but Unforgettable Stužková Celebration for Year 13

This year’s Stužková for our Year 13 students may have been small in size, but it was immense in meaning, emotion, and togetherness. In Slovakia, the Stužková is a cherished tradition—a symbolic milestone marking the beginning of the final chapter of high school life. Our students chose to celebrate it in a humble, intimate way, focusing not on extravagance but on creating a moment they will remember forever. And they truly did.

The evening began beautifully with a music entrance for the students, setting a warm and festive tone. Their smiles, excitement, and a touch of nervousness made it clear how special this moment was for them. Soon after, a series of fun and light-hearted games brought everyone into a joyful mood, filling the room with laughter and strengthening the wonderful bond this class shares.

One of the most touching parts of the celebration came with the speeches. The head class teacher delivered heartfelt words—encouraging, nostalgic, and inspiring—capturing the essence of what this year means for our graduates. Then, in a moment rich with symbolism, the class teacher presented each student with their ribbon along with a personalized certificate highlighting their unique and remarkable characteristics. Every student felt seen, valued, and celebrated.

Sometimes it is not the size of the event that matters, but the hearts of those who share it—and our teachers made the celebration feel full, warm, and unforgettable.
