Year Two Learns the Power of Kindness and Friendship
Over the past few weeks, our Year Two students have been learning about the importance of friendship and kindness. Through stories, discussions, and classroom activities, they have explored what it means to be a good friend and how small acts of kindness can have a significant impact.
The students have shared thoughtful ideas about how to show kindness in their daily lives—such as including others in games, offering to help when someone is hurt, making sure everyone feels welcome, and using kind words. They have also learned that kindness is not just about what we say, but also about the actions we take to make others feel valued and cared for.
Today, October 2nd, the class put their learning into action by creating amazing drawings that showed different ways to show kindness and friendship. Their artwork highlighted ideas like sharing toys, helping friends when they fall, including others in activities, and playing football together. Each picture reflected the unique ways our students understand and express kindness.
