Club Expo 2025 – Hebrew Club

This week, our school organised the Club Expo, where teachers could present the after-school clubs available for this academic year. The event was full of energy, creativity, and opportunities for students to discover new interests.

I had the pleasure of presenting the Hebrew Club. At our stand, visitors could enjoy some traditional food — small sandwiches with hummus — while learning more about the club. We also prepared a few fun activities. One of them was a dice challenge, where each side of the dice represented a small “mission” to complete. For example, one task was to find a city on the map of Israel, while another encouraged students to learn about a piece of culture.

We also explored Jewish holidays. Students were shown pictures connected to different celebrations and had to guess which holiday it was. To help them, we provided short explanations about how each holiday is celebrated, when it takes place, and why it is meaningful.

The goal of the Hebrew Club is not only to introduce students to the Hebrew language but also to open a window into the rich culture and traditions that come with it.

I am really looking forward to welcoming the students who decide to join.
