In the online Media and Journalism class, students Tadeas and Lukas recently completed a project called “You Write the News,” aimed at sharpening their writing skills while deepening their understanding of the key components of a news article.The project tasked them with writing a piece of news about a a elevant event, celebration, or a notable individual.

Throughout the project, Tadeas and Lukas demonstrated their ability to craft well-structured news articles. They worked on creating compelling headlines, engaging leads, and informative body paragraphs, all while maintaining the clear and concise style that is essential in journalism.
