Storytelling & Sound Editing

“Half of the storytelling ability is sound.”Joe Herrington, Principal Media Designer for Disney parks in the Imagineering department

This “Sound Editing” workshop in our Media & Journalism class serves as an essential opportunity for students to dive deeper into the complexity of audio production within the context of media storytelling. By immersing themselves in tasks such as interview editing and music remixing, students not only sharpen their technical skills but also gain a nuanced understanding of how sound enhances narrative impact in journalism. Through this hands-on experience, students are to become adept communicators in this digital age.
