Two unforgettable days in December 2024
December was full of various events at our school. These were weeks of passing tests in various subjects, completing projects, summing up academic performance, in short, a rather stressful period in the lives of both students and teachers. But among the daily bustle of studying, there is always room for joy and a pleasant time spent with classmates.
For example, two days before the holidays, the Year 11th students organized the “Secret Santa” campaign. You should have seen the excitement in their eyes when Sviatostav announced the name written on the gifts. The children tried to guess who they received them from. Most often, they succeeded, which delighted everyone. The students thanked each other for the joy they brought and shared the sweets they received.
Last day of school The Student Council, headed by Sviatoslav and with the active participation of Radovan and Imre, organized and held the Christmas Olympics for upper students. There were 5 different types of competitions, fun and exciting. The competitions were organized in such a way that every student in the class could participate. A “strict” jury of teachers evaluated the performance of each team. Based on the results of all competitions, our team took an honorable second place, allowing the graduates to become winners.
After the Christmas Olympics, the Year11th students, together with Mr. Godfred and Mr. Michal, took part in laser tag, having a lot of fun and getting rid of the rest of the academic stress.
On a wave of positivity, our students went on winter Christmas holidays. I can’t speak for all the teachers, but the past four months have shown me what wonderful students we have in the Year 11th. Each of them is a unique, interesting personality, revealing their creative, communicative and intellectual potential every day and in different forms, surprising me with their courage and childish spontaneity. Of course, we still have some educational tasks to solve, but they will be successfully solved.
