Sweet Fall Fun
To celebrate the start of fall in our environmental club, we organized a fun and tasty seasonal cooking activity with the children. Together, they made apple purée ice-cream cones as a delicious fall dessert. Using fresh apples, bananas, blueberries, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup, the kids got hands-on in preparing the treat. They first filled the cones with freshly made apple purée, bananas, and blueberries, then added a generous topping of whipped cream and finished it off with a drizzle of rich chocolate syrup.
It wasn’t just a fun way to welcome the new season, but also a great opportunity for the children to learn about seasonal fruits and how to use them in creative recipes. Everyone enjoyed the activity even Ms. Ivy- our wonderful Year 5 teacher. The best part was sharing their tasty creations with their families.
