I Can Solve Problems
In Year 1 we are working hard to become good problem solvers. In early November, we spent time learning a variety of ways to solve problems. These strategies include:
- getting help
- playing with someone new
- asking
- sharing
- walking away
- playing together
- saying “please stop”
- trading
- waiting
- ignoring
- saying how you feel
- taking turns
- apologizing
- using a timer
- making a deal
- stopping and thinking
We also practiced using these problem-solving strategeies to solve problems on task cards.
