A Surprise Reunion at the “Vianočná Nitra” Gymnastics Competition

Last Saturday brought an unexpected and heartwarming moment at the Vianočná Nitra gymnastics competition in Nitra. Two of our students, Jasmin and Ishanvi, met on the training rug—completely by surprise! Although they practice at different clubs, the girls were thrilled to see each other at the event. It was their first time competing together in the same tournament.

Both athletes took part in the Groups 2020–2019 (Duo/Trio) category. While the atmosphere was filled with competitive energy, Jasmin and Ishanvi showed everyone that friendship can shine just as brightly as athletic talent. They cheered each other on, shared laughs, and supported one another throughout the event—showing true sportsmanship.

The weekend didn’t end there for Jasmin. She returned to the competition on Sunday to perform as an individual gymnast, where she delivered an impressive floor routine in the 2019 category. Her hard work paid off as she proudly earned 2nd place—a remarkable achievement!

We are incredibly proud of both girls for representing our school with dedication, teamwork, and joy. Congratulations to Jasmin on her podium finish, and well done to both gymnasts for an unforgettable weekend in Nitra!
