My Favorite Y11
So the first semester of this school year has ended. Eighteen weeks of school are now only in our memories. What were they like?.. They were and will remain unforgettable for all of us: students, parents, class teachers, not only because of the abundance of various events in which we all took an active part.
The most important thing in our class is people.
Each student in our class, and there are 25 of them, is a unique, inimitable personality, looking for their way in this world, striving for perfection in their development and working daily on what still needs to be changed.
Each parent in our class, and there are more than 50 of them (we are also rich in grandparents and others), deserves gratitude for believing in our children, for their support, help, personal example.
Each class teacher in our class, and we have 3 of them, is a bright, creative person, actively interested in the personal growth and development of each of our students.
Today, a recognition ceremony of rewarding the successes and achievements of all the students of our school and our class in particular took place. 13 students of our class: Adela, Adrina, Anastasia, Anna, Dmytro, Imre, Lina, Maksym, Matvii, Radovan, Rouzhin, Sviatoslav, Vadim were awarded certificates of recognition in various subjects. This is 28 certificates. Congratulations!
Two students of our class: Imre and Sviatoslav reached The High Honor Roll (they have the only “1” in the Slovak system, the only “A” in the American system and 6-7 in the IB system). Congratulations!
Six students of our class: Adela, Adrina, Anastasiia, Dmytro, Maksym, Mykhailo reached The Honor Roll (they have only “1” and “2” in the Slovak system, the only “A” and “B” in the American system and 5-7 in the IB system). Congratulations!
Two students from our class: Adela and Sviatoslav were honored to be on the Wall of Fame 11 times among High school students in the last 18 weeks. This was the highest result. Radovan and Imre were on the same Wall of Fame 8 times. This is the second result. Congratulations!
But in our class there is a good reserve of students: Alexandra, Anna, Ester, Jake, Lina, Matvii, Rouzhin, Veronika, (maybe someone else) who have just one small step left to take on the Honor Roll. Be proud of yourself! Only forward!
We know that each of you was waiting to hear your name among the honorees. We know how important it is for each of you to have any progress in your studies noticed by the teacher and announced publicly. It is like a small push for a high flight.
Be that as it may, I believe in the inner strength of each of you. Keep your noses in the wind and spread your wings. You were born to FLY. Self-discipline and time management are your helpers.
The new semester opens up new prospects for us. When One for All and All for One, the world is much brighter and lighter. Let’s do this!
