The Polar Express Comes to EISB
The EISB canteen was recently transformed for an evening into a movie theatre – complete with a big screen, high-powered audio, and a snack stand including popcorn and cookies for sale. Last Friday, primary students had a chance to enjoy our annual Primary Movie Night, with the feature-film for this year being “The Polar Express”.
Students from Year 2 – Year 6 enjoyed their snacks and drinks while lounging on bean bags and pillows and watching the traditional Christmas favorite with their classmates and teachers. Several Academy students were on hand, as well, to run the concession sales, the profits of which will be donated to help needy children and families at Christmas time.
