Geoboards: A Fun and Creative Way to Learn Geometry

My Year 3 students have been engaging in creative activities with these pegboards and elastic bands during their free time in between classes or before school.

Geoboards are a great tool for learning and play, and your children have been using them to explore their creativity and imagination by demonstrating techniques to other or collaborating on a design together.

Some of the activities that students can do with geoboards include creating patterns, shapes, and pictures, as well as exploring symmetry (a topic we are learning about in maths this unit). This has helped them develop their creativity and problem-solving skills.

Yay for manipulatives! 🙂
