A Wonderful Visit to Bite&Byte Alpaca Farm
Our recent visit to Bite&Byte Alpaca Farm in Most pri Bratislave was truly one of the most heartwarming and memorable experiences of the year. Surrounded by nature, fresh air, and a field full of beautiful alpacas, we had the opportunity to discover not only a wonderful family farm, but also the inspiring dedication of two of our own students, Emmy and Elly, who help care for this special place every day.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much love and responsibility these students bring to the farm. Emmy and Elly welcomed us warmly and guided us through a tour of the property, proudly introducing us to the alpacas, each one with its own name and personality. Their knowledge of the animals, their routines, and the daily work involved was impressive and showed a level of maturity far beyond their years.
What made the visit especially meaningful was learning about the many responsibilities they manage before even coming to school. The girls help with numerous chores, including feeding the animals, caring for the baby alpacas, cleaning areas of the farm, and making sure everything is ready for the day ahead. Their commitment to balancing school life with real responsibility at the farm is something truly admirable.
During the visit, we were able to spend time with the alpacas up close, feed them, and even interact with the younger animals. It was a peaceful and joyful experience that reminded everyone how important it is to stay connected with nature. The calm presence of the animals, combined with the enthusiasm of Emmy and Elly, created a truly special atmosphere.
It is not every day that students demonstrate such responsibility, work ethic, and care for living creatures. I am genuinely honored to recognize the excellent work these girls are doing. They are setting a wonderful example of leadership, dedication, and kindness through their everyday actions.
The farm also has exciting plans for the summer, including a children’s summer camp where young visitors can learn about animals, nature, and farm life in a fun and hands-on environment. They are also looking for extra help during the summer season, which is another sign of how this lovely project continues to grow.
Every alpaca on the farm was beautiful, friendly, and clearly well cared for. Bite&Byte Alpaca Farm is the perfect place for families, children, and anyone looking to enjoy time outdoors in a peaceful setting. It is a place where visitors can slow down, connect with nature, and create happy memories.
The next open day will take place on May 1st, and I can sincerely say it is well worth a visit. We had an amazing time there, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and uplifting experience near Bratislava.
