Literature and Performance practice Y12 and Y13
Year 12 and Year 13 were tasked with writing their own chain poems, inspired by UNIT 2 and drawing from the style and themes of a Billy Collins poem. Using these chain poems as a foundation, the students are now collaborating to create a short performance that embodies the content and emotions of their original work.
For some students, this project involves stepping out of their comfort zones, particularly those who may feel uneasy about performing. However, the supportive environment has fostered a sense of encouragement and collaboration, making the process even more engaging. It is exciting to observe how these students adapt and thrive, working together to bring their creative ideas to life.
