EISB Hosts International Schools in Bratislava Futsal Tournament

Last week Wednesday, Jan 28th 2026 , the English International School Bratislava (EISB)   organized a futsal tournament among International Schools in Bratislava. This tournament was spearhead  by our Middle School Head, Mr. Thomas, the tournament brought together the best young talent in the city for a day of fast-paced futsal action.

The atmosphere reached a fever pitch during the final match. It was a heavyweight battle between Cambridge International School and the British International School.

In a repeat of their strong form, Cambridge International School took the victory once again with a narrow 2-1 win, defending their title in a match that kept everyone on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

While the EISB team came up a little short in the standings, the scoreboard didn’t tell the whole story. Our players showed incredible heart and resilience.

As Mr. Thomas emphasized during the organization of the event, the primary goal wasn’t just the silverware, it was about enjoyment, community, and stress relief after a busy term. By that measure, the tournament was a massive success!
