Beyond EISB – Aria

Aria graduated from EISB in the class of 2025. This is a message from him:

I am currently studying Management at Comenius University in Bratislava, and my journey began at the English International School of Bratislava, where I studied for five years. One of the greatest strengths of EISB was the ability to choose subjects that matched my interests. I selected courses like Design Technology, Psychology, Business, and Higher-Level Mathematics, and today I see how valuable that opportunity was. At the time, I didn’t fully appreciate how much school mattered. I used to think that as long as I got into university, school didn’t play a big role. Now I’ve changed my perspective. The knowledge and skills I gained at EISB have given me a strong foundation so strong that many topics at university already feel familiar, and it has helped me achieve high grades from the start.

Looking back, I am grateful for the flexibility, teachers, and learning environment at EISB. Choosing the right courses and taking my studies seriously prepared me more than I expected, and I am seeing the results every day. I don’t know how many of you will read this blog, but my only advice is to make the most of the opportunities EISB gives you. Choose subjects related to what you want to study, build strong, friendly, and respectful relationships with your teachers, and always engage in discussions and activities because in my opinion, confidence is one of the key factors for success and you can definitely gain it at EISB, if you truly want to.
