The Three Little Pigs – a Theatre Experience for Year 2 to Year 6
As part of our Primary programme, students from Year 2 to Year 6 went on a trip to see a theatre performance titled The Three Little Pigs. The visit was a wonderful break from the school routine and a great opportunity to experience live culture.
The play was a fun and modern twist on the well-known fairy tale. The three little pigs were not facing a big, bad wolf, but rather a clumsy and confused wolf who didn’t really know what he was doing. Luckily, he had a clever and sly fox by his side, teaching him various tricks to try to catch the pigs. Together, they made a funny duo that entertained both children and adults.
The children enjoyed the performance thanks to its energy, live music, and humorous scenes. The actors created a great atmosphere and showed how a classic story can be brought to life in an original and playful way.
Theatre has a big advantage over cinema – everything happens live, right in front of the audience. Children get to experience real emotions, live acting, scene changes, and music created in the moment. This helps them develop a deeper appreciation for the arts and stimulates their imagination.

We thank the theatre for this lovely artistic experience and are already looking forward to our next performance!
