Teachers from Poland Visiting EISB – A Week of Exchange and Inspiration through Erasmus+
In recent week, our school had the pleasure of hosting a group of dedicated teachers from a fellow IB school Paderewski from Lublin, Poland as part of their professional development under the Erasmus+ programme. The visit was a wonderful opportunity for cross-cultural exchange, collaborative learning, and professional growth for all involved.
The visiting educators spent several days shadowing our teachers across various subjects and grade levels in PYP and MYP. They observed lessons, engaged in discussions about teaching strategies, classroom management, and student engagement, and exchanged ideas about educational practices in different contexts. The focus was on inclusive teaching, student-centered learning, and the use of technology in the classroom.
It was inspiring to see how quickly the visiting teachers became part of our school community. They asked thoughtful questions, offered fresh perspectives, and showed a genuine interest in learning from our approach while sharing valuable insights from their own experiences. Our teachers also benefited greatly from the exchange, gaining new ideas and reflecting on their own practices.
The Erasmus+ programme continues to be a powerful platform for fostering international cooperation and professional development. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with like-minded educators and look forward to future partnerships and visits that enrich the learning experiences of both staff and students.
To our new colleagues from Poland – thank you for your curiosity, warmth, and enthusiasm. We hope your time with us was as rewarding for you as it was for us!
