A visit to Nelka’s grandfather’s bakery in Hronsky Benadik
On Wednesday, we had the wonderful opportunity to visit a bakery in Hronsky Benadik, where we learned many interesting things about baking bread and preparing buns. This experience was truly inspiring for all of us, as we got to see firsthand the heart of the process of making fresh baked goods.
We visited a bakery owned by the grandfather of our student, Nelka, from Year 3. It wasn’t just an ordinary visit, but a true immersion in tradition and craftsmanship. We were given the chance to observe every step of bread making, from start to finish. We were all fascinated by how carefully and precisely each piece of bread is prepared.
Additionally, during our visit, we had the opportunity to collect fresh eggs from the hens that are kept on the bakery’s farm. It was a great opportunity to see how farm work is connected with bakery production and to understand how important it is to have high-quality ingredients sourced directly from your own farm.
This visit was not only about learning new things but also about discovering the story and family tradition behind every piece of bread in the bakery. We are very grateful that we had the chance to see how things are done in the bakery owned by Nelka’s grandfather and to learn how much hard work and love go into every fresh piece of baked goods.
The experience of this visit enriched all of us and left a great impression that will stay with us for a long time.
