π¨ππππ-π¨πππππππ πΌπππππππππ Visit
Our students had the chance to visit Prague for an exciting trip to visit the Anglo-American University (AAU) and experience what itβs like to study at a university level.
Accompanied by Ms. Jana, Mr. Thomas, and Mr. Jesus, our goal was to explore campus life, attend real university lessons, and gain more independence while discovering the city. Our journey started on Wednesday with our arrival in Prague, followed by a nighttime city walk to take in the beautiful sights. On Thursday, we spent the morning at AAU, where we got an introduction to the university and its facilities. From 11:00 to 14:00, we attended university-level lessons, while some students continued with additional subjects from 15:00 to 17:45. On Friday, we took one last walk through the city before saying goodbye to Prague and taking the train back to Bratislava.
The Anglo-American University (AAU) in Prague is a private university where students from all over the world come to study in English. Known for its small class sizes and interactive learning, AAU offers programs in business, international relations, journalism, humanities, and law.
It combines an American-style education with a European setting, giving students a unique academic and cultural experience in the heart of Prague. With its historic campus and international community, AAU provides a great environment for those looking to study in an English-speaking university in Central Europe.
Studentsβ opinions
As part of our visit, two of our hosts gave a presentation to our students, explaining why Anglo-American University and this type of international experience are worth considering.
They shared insights on the benefits of studying in an English-speaking, multicultural environment, the opportunities that come with small class sizes and interactive learning, and how living in a city like Prague can enrich both academic and personal growth. Their perspectives gave students a better understanding of what university life could be like and why this experience could be a great step for their future.
Overall, this trip was a valuable experience, giving students a taste of university life, a deeper understanding of Prague, and a chance to grow more independent.
