Abstraction in art

Abstract art is a staple of the art world, giving us the opportunity to consider the world in a completely new lense. The students of EISB are no strangers to creating abstract artwork, whether as a part of the abstract art unit, or on their own, either in classes or during clubs. There is something magical about expressing oneself with colour, shapes, and experimentation. Abstract art is one of those things that might seem easy at first glance, but can prove to be difficult in practice. I’m happy to see when students experiment with different media, and techniques, to create original artworks.
