Spring (Actually Summer) Cleaning

On our last full day of school, Year 5 spent the morning cleaning up the classroom from a long year of memorable projects and various iterations of holiday decorations to get the space ready for next year’s incoming class. While we did get a lot done and work up a sweat with this activity, there was also plenty of time of joking around and reminiscing on the fun we’ve had as a class this year.

Sorting through our decorations from Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, etc, seemed to particularly evoke stories, shared experiences and plenty of laughs that the students will hopefully remember when they reflect back on their time together in Year 5 over the course of this past school year.
