EISB’s Teo Tarda (Y7) Defends Inter to a National Championship

This past weekend, EISB’s Teo Tarda (Year 7) played in the Slovak National <14 basketball championships.   The top 8 teams from around Slovakia, including Inter, competed coming to a final between Inter Bratislava against Galaxy Kosice.

Teo was used as a defensive “bully” and assigned to the best offensive players througout the tourney.

Koscie proved to be a formidible foe leading Inter in the 4th quarter.   With 7 minutes to go, Inter gathered their team and was “enouraged” by their coach to have a different approach.  The team came out of that break determined to be more aggressive, a “Bad Boys” approach, and with that, turned the tide with a decisive win by 7 points earning Inter Bratislavas the National Championship.

Next year, EISB’s Spirit Club will be there to help celebrate.
