During our visit to the Instituto Cervantes in Bratislava, our students learned about the history of the institute, its educational programs, and its role in promoting Spanish worldwide. They saw data showing the global importance of Spanish and explored different language courses, support services, and official tests the institute offers.

One of the highlights was a fun activity led by the instructors at the Instituto, focused on Spainโs geography and culture. Using a map and cards that listed major Spanish landmarks along with common verbs and vocabulary, our students practiced their Spanish by connecting cultural features to specific regions and describing the landscapes.

We wrapped up our trip with a lively introduction to Spanish culture at the Aula Cervantes. Our students experienced traditional Flamenco dancing and learned about famous Spanish festivals like “Las Fallas.”
Additionally, we took a pleasant walk through the instituteโs art exhibition, where our students enjoyed viewing works of Spanish fine arts, adding to their appreciation of Spain’s rich cultural heritage.
