DP1/Gr11/Gr12 art practice

In the higher classes, the Visual Arts course gets a bit more serious, where each student has to prove that they have the essential skills in arts.

Each student was given an A3 hard paper print with a grid. The drawing refferences consisted of famous singers, since high resolution black and white pictures were easily available.

The students needed to use pencils such as 2B, 5B, and even 8B to achieve all the different values and shadows. For some students, it was their first time taking a visual arts class, and I have to say, that their hard work paid off.
