Curling Comes to an End

With the holiday break coming up soon, the Upper Primary students made their final trip to Zminy Stadion for their last curling lesson on Tuesday. While the kids weren’t sure what to expect the first time we walked on to the ice, they have come to develop a real interest for this sport and have thoroughly enjoyed learning the necessary skills and competing against each other in matches.

At the conclusion of our last lesson, the instructors gave them some treats for the holidays and our students presented them with some handmade “Thank You” cards as a show of appreciation for introducing us to this exciting sport. Hopefully, we will be able to continue to learn about curling during external PE again next year.
