Teo T. and Richard K., EISB students, champions of the Slovak National Basketball Championship
After a long year of training, Teo T. (Y6) and Richard K. (Y7) won the gold medal in the National Basketball Championships under-12 with their team BK Inter Bratislava. The final phase of the championship took place in Bratislava from June 9 to June 11, 2023.
Teo, Richard, and their team defeated SBK Galaxy 66-28 in the semi-finals. It was a game in which both teams gave the best they had and showed their sports values.
In the last game of the Championship, the final, BK Inter Bratislava beat Prievidza 61-60. Because the score was equal at the end of regular time, the game was decided in extra time, with some exciting final minutes. A thrilling game enjoyed by all the fans in the stadium.
Also, Teo T. has won a bronze medal in the under-13 Slovak National Basketball Championship and a silver medal in the under-14 Slovak National Basketball Championship.
