Year 6 participates in a Webinar with the author Tom Palmer

On Thursday 2 February, Y6 had the opportunity to participate in an online webinar with the British author Tom Palmer. The class is currently finishing reading Palmer’s book After the War. The book is about the experiences of a group of children in England immediately after they have survived the horrors of Auschwitz.

The students and Mr Eley learned about Palmer’s inspiration for the book, as well as his writing process. They were then able to ask him some questions about the book. Hopefully many of the students have come away from the experience with some inspiration about their own writing in the future.
