A glimpse into Andrej Kúska’s CAS journey
For my CAS I tried to do activities that I would normally do. This way I was able to get the most of the subject. My activities were usually related to what I want to study (programming) and sports that I enjoy (hiking and backpacking).
For programming I decided to learn the basics of a programming language called Python. It is one of the easiest and most popular programming languages to start with. This is something that would be very helpful in the university. Also, I used this language for my MATH IA.
Hiking was actually a CAS project of mine. I went out for a hike with two of my friends roughly every other weekend. I recorded the mileages, and based on that I donated a certain amount of money to a charity.
