There is no better way to get a chilďs full attention than to tell them that they will create something for their mother. Whatever they are making suddenly becomes the most important thing in the universe, and this should not be surprising, since it is their most important person they are creating it for. The following photos document the Year 3 students creating a personalized silk scarf for their mothers on Mother’s Day. A special thank you to Miss Beata for sharing your art skills once again.

When I was 8 years old one of my favorite things to do was to visit the market with my grandmother and eat a warm garlicky langoš. Little did I know at that time that it would be another 32 years until I would be at the same place, reminiscing about the beautiful memories of my grandmother while eating this delicacy. I call it the langoš 360. A 360 turn of living, studying and teaching around the world.
