Competition “Traveler’s Notebook” & “My dream holiday”

FOR ACADEMY:

EISB PA has prepared an unconventional competition for our Academy students. We can celebrate the World Tourism Day ( September 27) despite the travel restrictions for Covid 19. Let’s get to know the world at least through the “Traveler’s Notebook” competition! Academy students can participate in this creative competition with their travel notes and photographs. Our project wants to support tourism by educating children in a creative and interactive way.  Small  jury will select the 3 best works and reward the article authors with a discount ISIC International Student Card, with which you will save a considerable amount of money not only when traveling abroad, but also in Slovakia. Click for possible discounts here: https://isic.sk/zlavy-na-slovensku/

Competition rules:

  • you can participate when you are an EISB Academy student,
  • you need to write an article / essey about one of the countries you have visited (which you liked and introduce to your classmates) where at least 300 words should be used (minimum)
  • you can enrich your story with your own family photos 3-10 pcs.
  • it is necessary to send the article (where   you state your name and class) to: eisb.pa@gmail.com, which school will print out and display at the school. By participating in the competition, you give your consent to the publication of your article with photos.
  • The deadline for submission is from SEPTEMBER 27, 2020 to October 5, 2020.

What is World Tourism Day about? Tourism enriches individuals, families, communities and all the world. The purpose of this day is to raise awateness on the role of tourism within the international community and to demonstrate how it affects social, cultural, political and economic values worldwide.

FOR PRIMARY:

We have also something for our Primary kids – a “My dream holiday” competition! Kids can draw, paint or make a collage of their favourite place in the world. It can be a place they have been to or simply a place they would love to visit. Our small jury will select the 3 best works and reward the author with a scratch map of the world.

Competition rules:

  • kids can use any technique they like, e.g. drawing, painting, collage/photo collage (computers are allowed too!)
  • it is necessary to send the work (with name and class of the child) to: eisb.pa@gmail.com or bring it to the school – EISB PA has a mailbox in the foyer.
  • By participating in this competition, you give your consent to the publication of your work.
  • The deadline of submission is from SEPTEMBER 27, 2020 to OCTOBER 5, 2020.
