What can we learn from other stories?

What can we learn from other stories was the area of study where Year 1 students focused on the performance and their own learning.

Every week we paid special attention to a particular story through Maths, analyzing the characters, and sequencing the stories through various activities such as putting the events in order and retelling them.

Determining the message of the story or a moral was taught by looking at the characters’ actions.

It was challenging to study through online lessons however the shared screen is a great tool and also Year 1 students could enjoy listening to the recorded videos of the stories.

We ended each week with a small art or other project and posted all our assignments on seesaw.
