Pre-school and Primary students will return to school

Dear EISB family,         

Pandemic rules will be predictable after many months. From Monday, February 8, Slovakia will start using a Covid machine, which describes exactly what measures will be introduced, in which phase of the pandemic. Although the situation in Slovakia is still serious, the goverment has agreed to a slight relaxation โ€“ opening schools for some students. Kindergartens, first stage of primary schools and the graduation of secondary schools will open. 

At the EISB we are looking forward to the return of our students from Pre-School and Primary 

On Monday, February 8, the full-time learning of students from Pre-School, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 will begin.

The condicion for the studentยดs return to school is a negative covid test one of a legal representative. The test cannot be older than 7 calendar days.

Full-time learning also begins for students in Year 6.

On Monday morning is required to bring a completed form Affidavit on infectivity / ฤŒestnรฉ vyhlรกsenie o bezinfekฤnosti

If a family chooses not to test, the student can continue learning from home by connecting via Zoom to regular classroom instruction. 

Academy students (Year 7, Year 8, Year 9, Year 10, Year 11 & DP) continue in online home learning.

Electives / Clubs / Aftercare / Pick up children / Masterclasses

Electives for โ€žPrimaryโ€œ end daily at 3:15 p.m.

Electives for โ€žSecondaryโ€œ end daily at 3:00 p.m. (online form)

Clubs for Primary remain open under conditions of use of high hygienic measures, according to the valid schedule. 

Children must be picked up by 5:00 p.m.

Wearing masks

Wearing masks is mandatory the whole day for all children in Year 2 โ€“ Year 6. It is highly recommended for children in Pre-School and Year 1. Parents should provide their children with at least two masks (a spare, the child must carry with them if necessary) and tissues.
