Tense About Verb Tenses

Students in English Language Acquisition (ELA) are tackling one of the basic grammar stumbling blocks in English: the present tense. As I am sure you know, English has two very different forms of the present tense, present simple and present continuous, which regularly confuse and annoy nonnative speakers. To help differentiate between one and the other, students are using the topic Hobbies and Pastimes: What hobbies do you have?  Do you play sports? What are you doing now?

Listen in to see how they’re doing.  Their answers aren’t perfect (yet!), but they’re getting there.
