¡Hola, amigos! Year 2 Learns to Communicate en Español 🇪🇸

To wrap up our first unit, Year 2 students recorded their very own Spanish podcast! This final project was a fun and creative way to bring together everything we’ve learned so far — greetings, emotions, colours, and numbers.

Throughout the unit, students practiced using these words and phrases in real conversations, learning not just to repeat vocabulary, but to communicate with confidence. In the podcast, they shared dialogues, counted objects, described colours, and even expressed how they were feeling — all in Spanish!

Recording the podcast helped students listen carefully, speak clearly, and work together as a team. Most importantly, it showed how much progress they’ve made in such a short time.
